Ready to Help You With All Your Permitting Needs

At CRC we pride ourselves on responsiveness to the project needs while balancing compliance with local and federal laws- delivering outstanding results to our diverse clients in both Washington and Oregon.

CRC is committed to the principals of cultural resources preservation and conservation, as well as to providing our clients with sound and cost-effective management and mitigation services for archaeological and historic above-ground properties that may impact project planning . CRC’s services are developed through the disciplines of anthropology, archaeology, historic preservation, resource management, environmental studies, historical research and GIS cartography. Each project is approached with a full appreciation for the client’s objectives, schedule, and budget constraints. In this, CRC strives to assist our clients project planning with appropriate cost control, and technical support.

Archaeology

We assist private landowners, as well as agencies and organizations with site assessments, archaeological surveys, site testing evaluation and permitting.

CRC’s well researched reports are developed to provide technical guidance and recommendations for the evaluation and mitigation of archaeological resources, for regulatory compliance and management planning.

Historic Preservation

CRC is committed to the principles of historic preservation and we value the many historic properties that are a living history of the Pacific Northwest that give us an enduring sense of place.

CRC has solid experience with the federal Section 106 and local regulatory process with thorough field methods, research for context building, development of historic contexts for property type identification, and National Register of Historic Places eligibility evaluations. CRC can produce concise identification of effects, both direct and indirect, to historic properties and develop treatment plans and avoidance measures and interpretation for mitigation of adverse effects to historic properties.

Planning/Compliance

No two projects are alike, and our many projects have given us a broad understanding of the regulatory setting along with Tribal and Agency concerns in both Washington and Oregon.

CRC has successfully completed a variety of projects through conducting archival and ethnographic research, agency and tribal consultation, field work, precontact and historic-period archaeological site documentation; site evaluation, data recovery excavation, construction monitoring, site damage assessments; above ground historic resources surveys and evaluation; interpretive signage, web articles, photo and video media, school curricula, booklet preparation.
